Having seen a video by the creator of the New York Times Mini crossword describing how they create the crossword, and being a regular player, I became curious about what it would be like to create the crossword grids.
From there, Weavaword was born.

Version 0.1.0 looked a little different, and didn't even have a name. I was calling it the "crossword game".
