How to play

Object: Interweave words to create a mini crossword grid, aiming for the highest score from letter values.

Fill the empty squares with your own 3, 4, 5, or 6 letter words.
All words must cross at least one other word.
Duplicate words are not allowed.
Every letter is limited to how many tiles it has in a standard Scrabble set (e.g. J, K, Q, X, Z only once each).
A doubled consonant (e.g. the ZZ in FUZZY) only score as one letter unless both are interesected.

When the Score display shows a message instead of a number, that's the problem to fix first:

Invalid word: not a real dictionary word, or the wrong length.
Duplicate word: already used elsewhere on the grid.
Exceeds letter usage: a letter placed more times than its standard Scrabble tile count allows.
Floating word: valid and unique, but doesn't cross another word yet - this one doesn't block submitting, it just isn't scoring yet.

Select Daily for today's puzzle, or Practice for a random word.
One square is permanently blocked and can't be filled.
Blue: Starter word. Green: Scoring word. Pink: Rule violation - see above.
The Daily puzzle stays the same all day.
Use Reset to keep trying for your best score.
Your score updates live as you type.
Progress saves automatically - come back any time.
Right-click (desktop) or double-tap (mobile) a letter of the starter word to look up its definition.

Letter keys show their point value (bottom-right) and, in Scrabble mode, how many remain to be placed (top-right) - hidden in Weava mode, which has no usage limits.
⌫ Backspace - clears the selected cell, or on a second press (when already empty) steps back one cell.
→ Across / ↓ Down - toggles which way typing jumps to the next empty cell.
⌨ Native keyboard - mobile only: switches between this on-screen keyboard and your device's own.
Reset icon - clears the grid back to just the starter word.
Save / Load - Daily only. One checkpoint per scoring mode, per day: Save snapshots your current grid, Load restores it. Resets at midnight - not saved history yet.

Share - copy or share your result, with words and a link as optional extras.
Settings - switch between Scrabble and Weava scoring.
